Hey friends!
Just a quick update post on all of the ADVENTURES I’ve been up to lately! I can’t WAIT to share with you! (YESSSSSS…and a super cool miracle)
This summer so far:
Brady and I took a trip to Israel and Jordan (posts to come) – I got kissed by a camel, floated in the Dead Sea and WALKED WHERE JESUS WALKED! It was amazing and overwhelming and life changing and ALL THE THINGS!
I ate cheese in the shower (this is entirely underwhelming but I love cheese and I have to get clean, therefore cheese in the shower).
I began a YouTube series of videos on the ADVENTURES I’ve taken! My first video is about my OPRAH ADVENTURE! If you haven’t already, please subscribe to my channel – or check out the video at the bottom of this post!
MIRACLE DRUM ROLL…I’ve been collecting donations of my book for Madison Correctional Facility – I’ll be speaking there on September 8.
WELLLLLL…I got a grant and donations from many of you…and we have the 200 books we need! This is DEFINITELY a MIRACLE! Thank you to everyone who has donated so far. I will keep you updated as we get closer to the event!
I’ve started work on my NEW BOOK! And I am BEYOND PUMPED about it. Be looking for more information to come about how YOU can be part of my LAUNCH TEAM for the book! (Get my other book here!)
I spent a week at Ball State learning from other teachers, and Kayden is currently spending her week in Minneapolis, sharing the love of Jesus.
What I’m currently reading:
For my devotionals, I’m currently reading (for the second time!) Draw the Circle: The 40 Day Prayer Challenge. Mark Batterson is the author of The Circle Maker, and if you’d like a challenge in your prayer life, pick this up.
Miracle in the Andes is the first hand account of a Rugby team whose plane crashed in the Andes Mountains. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE SURVIVAL BOOKS and this one is beautifully written. It is UNBELIEVABLE what the human spirit can push us to do.
What I’m eating:
Cheese.
What I’m LOVING:
- Riding my bicycle
- Kissing my husband
- Reading and reading and reading
- Lunching with friends
- Drinking coffee
- Watching documentaries
- Spending time with Jesus
